Can you confirm that the software will be going to the android version 7.1.0 and that is not a mistake. Android 7.1.0 is a big update over 7.0 so I would like to make sure not to get excited about nothing.

Our apologies, it was a typo and the version is 7.0. The updates is for security and bug fixes though, so that part is spot on.

I have a Samsung s6 edge plus and every day I get a notification to say there is an update. Once I click on the notification and the phone goes looking for the update, it says the latest updates are already installed. I see from a previous weekly wrap that it is a security update. My software is march 2017 security patch.
any advice on how to get the phone to update to the latest security patch.
