Another option is to grab one from the Vodafone kiosk in the airport when you land here in Australia and the team can even activate the SIM for you in the store.
If you have one sent to your Australian address, you'll just need to activate the SIM once you arrive and are ready to start using your service. You can activate the SIM online over here or over the phone on 1300 101 606. Your 30 days will then start once the SIM is activated.
