my iphone keeps switching on and off i dont have long left on my contract, but would still like to use this iphone but cant, i also need it for work
Hi Jack,
I would love to help you have these issues resolved and to do this I'll need to ask you a few questions.
Is your iPhone switching off at particular times (eg- when on a call or randomly) Do you notice if your iPhone becomes quiet hot before its switching off?
I suggest backing up and restoring your iPhone through iTunes and seeing if the issue continues to happen. If your unsure about how to do this, let me know and I'll give you step by step instructions.
If this doesn't fix your current issue than I would strongly suggest having your iPhone accessed in one of our Vodafone stores. You can locate your nearest Vodafone store by clicking here. Having your phone accessed in store will allow us to send it away for repair, if needed.
Thanks,
Maddie

I would also be interested to hear whether this problem is experienced by anyone else.
Both my daughters have iPhones 3Gs running IOS 5.x In the last two months they are also experiencing this random restart problem.
One is experiencing intermittent restart (one a week) and the other constantly - so much so that she has to take the SIM card out and the problem stops. The iPhones are standard - ie, not jail-breaked
If there are two iphone - I suspect there maybe more.

I can certainly understand that this is frustrating for your daughters.
Have your daughters tried backing up and restoring their iPhones through iTunes and seeing if the issue continues to happen?
Have your daughters had their phones assessed by a technician in a Vodafone store to see if they need to be taken for repair?
Thank you,
