The New iPad Cellular Network Problem

Message 1 of 3 (1,240 Views)

Hi,

I'm using the new iPad on a vodafone postpaid sim. The signal strength is displayed with vodaAU logo on my iPad; however, no 3G symbol is anywhere to be found; therefore, no data.

Please look into this as soon as possible, thanks.

Rachel

Hi Rachel - it might be as simple as turning on the iPad's data connection.  Follow the steps in this manual:

If the data is already turned on, then maybe this is to blame?  There have been a lot of complaints that the new iPad has 3G connection issues.

It's great that you've got the new iPad, I hope you're enjoying it!

Peter is spot on with the information he's provided below, as it does sound like you need to enable the mobile data connection on your iPad.

Let me know how you go!

Regards,

Sarah.
