IPhone Insurance

Message 1 of 3 (878 Views)

Hi,

I reccently cracked my iphone and want to get it fixed. I went to the vodafone store, and the guy was of no help, telling me to call this number and handing me a booklet on making a claim. He couldnt answer my questions about costs and insurance.

So i looked online myself and I was about to make a claim, but read that I had to pay an excess fee of $150. Does my insurance cover that excess fee? Or partially cover it? I'm confused.

Hi Linda-91,

If you selected to insurance at the time of signing up, you can certainly lodge a claim online here or by calling our Vodafone Cover Insurance Team on 1800 808 743.

It sounds like the $150 is the excess fee you will need to pay when making the claim and before your phone is repaired or replaced with a refurbished handset.

Thanks,

Cait
