Oh no! My phone was recently stolen and I know how much of a pain it can be, so I'd like to help you get this sorted as quickly as possible.
The first thing you should do after your phone is stolen is contact us to have the SIM barred. Barring the SIM ensures that it can't be used anyone else to make calls, and prevent them from potentially running up a huge bill on your account.
If you're in Australia when your phone is stolen you can call Care on 1300 650 410, or on +61 414 141 414 if you're overseas.
If you have not already contacted us to have a bar put on your service, it is very important that you do this as soon as possible.

As en existing customer, you can apply to have a Mobile Payment Plan (MPP) added to your account. This basically allows you to purchase a new phone and split the cost over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, depending on your requirements. You can read more about MPPs by following the this link.
It is also possible to purchase the phone outright if an MPP doesn't suit you. Many people chose an MPP over an outright purchase though, because an MPP doesn't require a full upfront payment like an outright purchase does. It's really up to you though.
We can organise a free replacement SIM for you.
The fastest way to get a new phone and SIM is at your nearest Vodafone store, which you can find using out handy Store Locator, here. They'll be able to answer any other questions you have and (provided they have stock of the phone your after) you'll be able to walk out with a brand new phone and SIM right there and then.
If popping in to a store isn't an option, or you're happy to wait, then you can speak with our Upgrades Team, who deal with MPPs and outright purchases. To contact them, simply call 1300 650 410. Ordering through our Upgrades Team will obviously mean waiting for your new phone to be sent out though, which may not be a practical option for you.
In case you're not able to get in store or call the Upgrades Team, I can arrange for the Upgrades Team to call you. If you'd prefer this option and are happy to wait a few days for a new phone to arrive, then please send an email to online.help@vodafone.com.au with 382CNSUI in the subject. Please ensure you include the information listed in our email guide.
If you have nay other questions, please let me know. If you need me to put a bar on your service, then send me an email and I'll be happy to arrange it.
Thanks,
Nick
