Hi deb - sounds like you're getting right into the Playbook.
The Blackberry is unlike anything I'm familiar with. It has several methods of deleting files but none of them is very obvious.
One way is to hook up your Blackberry to a PC & use File Explorer to locate and delete files.
Then there's a FREE programme called AIR Browser for managing folders and PDFs. Download it from appworld. You can use it to create/rename/delete folders and sub-folders, it can also copy, cut, paste, rename and delete pdf files.
How to delete a Word (.doc) document:
1. Launch Word to Go. 2. Select (one tap) the document to be deleted. 3. Click on the pencil icon. 4. Click on the trash can icon. 5. Select 'Delete' from the pop-up dialogue box.
Another way to delete files
Swipe down on the screen...any app screen...if there is a pencil icon, then you can delete. If no pencil, use a PC and file explorer.
