once again vodafone I cant use my phone because I have no service at home, use to be fine, but last month or so has been CRAP!!!

Thanks for posting in our community, It seems as though your network issues are very intermittent and may be due to some upgrades happening in your area. 

May I grab your postcode and the name of your suburb, as well as a few surrounding postcodes in your area? This will allow me to perform a few quick investigations into your suburbs network strength, and let me view any network upgrades or planned outages that may have been scheduled.

As Michael has suggested, switching your phone to 2G can help give you some coverage while the network has dropped. You can do this by going to your network setting and disabling your 3G service.
