Hi Vodafone,
I'm guessing this is the right place to post for my issue. I ordered my new Sony Xperia S a couple of weeks ago. This then took 2 weeks to arrive! After which i found a normal sized sim inside when the xperia required a micro sim. After calling customer support i then went to a Vodafone store to collect a micro sim. The lady at the service desk followed the proceedure to activate the sim on Friday 18/05 1pm and said it would be activated in 2 hrs. On Saturday i then called up myself to activate the Sim as i thought there may have been an error. It is now 3 days later and my sim is still not active!!!!
What is going on Vodafone??? THis is very poor service!
Regards,
Reuben.
EDIT: I am also transferring from three, and have follwed proceedures to turn my phone on and off regularly.

Waiting 3 days for your number to migrate across to Vodafone is definitely longer than our expected time frame. It is in my best interest to ensure that your number is in the process of porting across to Vodafone and is completed as soon as possible. As I'll require some personal details to access your Vodafone, I've sent you a private message with my email contact details for you to forward this information to.
I look forward to receiving your email and assist you further with this.
Thanks,
Cait

Hi Cait.
I just received a text asking me to call 1300 101 606 to complete my activation across to vodafone.
Not sure if thats a generic text or you wanted me to but i called the number and entered in the details again.
Any ideas when my sim will be active or how the process is going? as it is 1pm today and my sim still isnt active.
Thanks,
Reuben

Hi Cait,
The Sim has now been activated! Thankyou very much for your help!
Although I'm quite happy that my phone is now working im still not 100% satisfied considering my phone was not working for half of my first billing month.
If Vodafone had a little better customer service they would be a much better company.
Regards,
Reuben.

It's great to hear your SIM card is now activated! I certainly appreciate how you feel regarding the the time taken to have your migration completed. I did send you an email last night to further discuss this matter with you, did you receive this email?
I look forward to your email response.
Cheers,
Cait

The porting process is designed to be as smooth as possible, and I'm sorry that you have had to experience such a lengthy wait. Rest assured, I want your service to be active as quickly as possible, and for me to do that, I'll need to access your account.
I've sent you a PM requesting some of your account details, and you can access your PMs by clicking here. Once you send your info through, I'll get your service active for you.
I'm looking forward to getting this solved for you.
Kind Regards,
James.
