I then send mms to several friends in the uk last night and everyone of them was sent to Vodafone Australia website.
Currently, when MMS messages sent to international numbers (other than New Zealand) the receiver gets a TXT notification that they can view the MMS through PXT World, our online MMS viewer. They can then follow the link in the message to view the picture that you sent through.
This is set to change soon though. The change will allow PXT that are sent internationally to be viewed directly on a compatible handset. This is outlined on the Support section of our website, here.
In the meantime, your friends and family in the UK can continue to view MMS through PXT World. If their phone has Internet access, they can even access PXT World from their phone.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
Thanks,
Nick

when is vodafone going to fix its international mms problems? I cant send pxt messages to people in other countries, including those in europe who are with vodafone themselves, nor receive any pxt messages. there are no error replies, nothing to indicate that the message hasn't been sent and not even a txt to tell them to go online to retrieve the picture. this was supposed to be fixed in early 2012 and its mid 2013 now. I've been a customer for almost 14 years and have put up with some problems but no with family and freinds spread around the globe its getting to be a joke. and as a final there are people in australia who can't receive picture txt from me and i have gone through all the settings over the phone with consultants

At present there is nothing reported that will be directly affecting the delivery of PXT messages overseas. You've mentioned that you're having troubles with some PXT messages in Australia as well which does indicate it may be something else that is causing these troubles for you. If this is the case, we need to fix it so let's take a look and see what's going on.
When it comes to sending PXT overseas there are a few rules that will determine its successful delivery. If you've yet to do so check out our Support Page here that will let you know the full requirements.
You've done everything right so far and going through the settings with us over the phone really helps to pin point what's going on. To get a better idea as to what's happening when you send a PXT could you provide us with a few extra details? Letting us know the kind of phone you're using, the Countries you're sending a PXT to and how frequent you're having troubles with the delivery of PXT in Australia will be a great start.
PXT messages are a fantastic way to keep in touch with family and friends overseas so it's completely understandable that you're wanting to get this fixed. We do as well and I'm sure we can work it out.
