Hi there,
I was origionally on a 3 mobile plan for 2 years, while I was at work 6 days a week I had no problem with coverage, as soon as I was upgraded to Vodafone, I could no longer use my phone at work. This is a big problem as it is affecting my job, making calls on my mobile is a vital part of my work. The only way I can take a call or call someone is to walk outside into the car park and use my phone there. I'm wondering can I cancel my plan so that I can move to another provider?
Thanks

Network problems such as these are not the kind of experience we have intended for our customers, and I want to help you with your network issues, so I can get them fixed and have you as satisfied and happy with your service as we want you to be!
To look into this, I will need a couple of details about your area, and the kind of places your request. If I could grab the name of the suburbs your home and work are in, as well as their postcodes, that would be great, as it would allow me to do some initial checks over those areas for signal strength, pending upgrades and any current faults that may be affecting your service.
You will be able to supply the rest of the info I need by filling out part 3 of our troubleshooting guide, here. Whilst you are there, running through parts 1 and 2 can definitely fix some of the issues you are facing and optimize your handset to receive the best signal. Once you have finished filling out part 3, please post the results here so I can continue helping you out!
I look forward to getting more information from you around your network issues, and if you have any other details you would like to share apart from the questions in part 3, please feel free to post it in the 'any extra information you would like to share' section.
Kind Regards,
James.

I don't want you to give up, and I can definitely help you.
If you would like to answer the questions I have posed to Kostie above, and use part 3 of our troubleshooting guide to share some more info, that would a great start in getting me the details I need to get your service running correctly! I can see from our coverage map that your general area has varying coverage, however is it quite strong throughout, and I want to make sure you are getting full use out of this!
Kind Regards,
James.

Hi James
Here are the details
Postcode: 2043
Suburb: Erskineville
Service difficulties- slow data speeds, No signal, drops to 2G
Time of day;All day but worst at night from 6pm onwards
How long has it been occurring:3 months
Any other Vodafone users identified the same issues?: Yes, my wife has an iPad 2 and iphone 4
Mobile Device in use:iPad2,2x iPhone 4 and Pocket WiFi 2
Device used for isolation test:iPhone 4
How long have you had the device? :9 months
Another thing to add is that when i use all of my Vodafone devices outside of the house or at work in the city (Sydney) or when these devices travel to Bondi Junction they work quiet well. My problem is when they are in Erskineville (2043).
I do work from home and that work entails the use of WiFi or 3G.I'm getting to the point where i will need to cancel my Pocket WiFi (at least) and go for a ADSL2 service.
I hope this helps
Paul

Thanks for providing those details for me, it's a real help.
Based on the information you have provided, and some of the testing you have done in other areas outside of the Erskineville area, your devices don't appear to be receiving the full capability of the network in that area.
I would like to look further into this, and to do so I'm going to need to view some of your personal details on your account. I've sent you a PM with instructions on how to send your information through to me, and you can access your personal messages by clicking here. When I receive your info, I'll be able to look the specifics of of your situation, and find the best resolution for you.
I look forward to speaking with you again.
Kind Regards,
James.
