Hello,

I am new to vodafone,and I have choosed prepaid 365 day recharge as I don't want to worry about the recharge date every month.

I have figured that I can't receive any text smss, and I don't know why?

I have also another question, will I be able to call/send texts to overseas/other australian network under this plan?

Welcome aboard! The 365 recharge option is a great choice if you don't won't to worry about recharging every month! I can help with any questions or concerns you have about your new Vodafone service.

You definitely should be able to receive txt messages. If you try sending a message to yourself, do you receive it? If not I'd like to take a closer look at your account, to make sure everything is configured correctly on your service.  We're not able to share your personal details here in our Community, so I've sent you  Private Message (PM) with my email contact details and the info I will need to help.

What country and carrier are you sending txt messages to overseas. Provided we have a txting agreement with that carrier, you will be able to send txt messages. You can check the carriers we have agreements by following the instructions on our website here. There's also general information on sending txt overseas here that you might find useful.
