I just changed over from 3 to vodafone and Ive started getting charged by vodafone for internet usage but I do not use the internet. Let me be clear on this, I have a nokia e63 so it has NO apps. I use it to sent text messages, picture messages (not very often), to make phone calls, to look at my calendar, to look at the time, to capture images and to capture videos, that is all. I have never used the internet, in fact I deleted anythiong that could access the internet and those that couldnt be deleted were moved into a folder, into another folder so that they couldnt be accidently accessed at anytime. Yet having only been with vodafone for less than a month and already Ive got 3 PKT charges, yet for the 6 years i was with 3 i never had any of those charges?

It sounds like you've already done some great troubleshooting to try and get to the bottom of this.
You mention that you occasionally send or receive picture messages. Sending picture messages, also known as MMS or PXT, requires access to the data network. Do the PKT charges you see on your invoice coincide with when you sent/received the messages?
Whilst the data used to send or receive PXT doesn't come out of your prepaid inclusions, you would still expect to see the data listed on your bill.
The other thing to realise is that most phones will try and connect automatically and regularly to the Internet. Your E63 definitely has the ability to connect to the Internet, even though you may not consider it a "smartphone".
There's a bunch of different reasons your phone auto-connects to the network, most of which revolve around ensuring your phone is up to date. We've created a handy guide on our website that will help you to discover why the phone might be connecting to the net.
If what I've mentioned above doesn't help you to work out what's going on, then I'd be happy to look over your account. From there, I can organise to switch data off on your account completely. This will ensure you won't be charged for any data usage, but will also mean you can't send or receive PXT messages, so it may not be a permanent solution.
If you'd like me to have a look over your account, then please send me an email. I'll send you a PM with my email address, which you can access by following the link here.
Please let me know how you go looking in to the charges, and if you still have concerns.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick, yes it is highly possible that I am getting charged for data for sending mms but thats ridiculous, no one told me that on top the the mms charge i would also be charged for the data usage to send the picutre, but i also dont want to stop sending pictures. It should be clearly outlined that I would be charged data for mms

No dont worry you dont get charged data usage for those things they just appear on your bill you only get charged your standard fee for sending MMS and you dont get charged at all to recieve it

I can certainly help you to determine if you are being charged for using data when sending a PXT message. I understand that just because you have moved from 3 to Vodafone you shouldn't have to change how you use your phone and service.
We can check whether you are being charged for the data sessions even when you are on prepaid and don't get a monthly invoice. If you click on this link it will take you to MyVodafone and if you log in and under usage details you should be able to see any charges for data charges.
If you do see any PKT charges please let me know and I can investigate further, as zabzabcanfly has outlined you should only be charged for PXt and not the data portion.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,
Dana.
