Why don't you all just call Vodafone Customer Care on 1555 from a Vodafone mobile or 1300 650 410 from any other phone and just give them your SIM serial number? They'll tell you your mobile number in 2 seconds. That'd be the quickest and definitely the easiest method.

Hi Katharina,

You've definitely come to the right place to get the info you're after!

If this is your first plan with us, or you're upgrading an existing one, the sim card will already be active, so you can just pop that in your handset and send a message to a friend, or if you've got an iPhone, you can view your own number by heading to your contacts and scrolling to the top of the list.

if you've picked up a prepaid service, you'll have your activation code in your pack you received, which also contains instructions on how to give us a call on 1555 and get your service active.  Either way, I'd be happy to help you get your number and your service up and running.

So I can do that, please send an email to online.help@vodafone.com.au with C624CJJPIin the subject, and put your mobile number, account pin and a link to your thread on the Community in the body of the message.

Send that info through, and I'll make sure you're up and running!

Regards,

James.

I will be happy to help you out with your phone number.

Could you email online.help@vodafone.com.au with the code C999CDAGI in the subject header.  If you click on this link it will have the email template of the information that I will require to look up that number for you. Instead of supplying the mobile number, which you obviously don't know, just pop in your SIM serial number, the number is on the SIM itself and starts with 89610.  Just be careful not to touch the gold contacts on the SIM as the are the points in which connect the SIM to the phone.

Once I've got your email then I can investigate further and get you that number, which i'm sure would be handy to know.

Cheers,

Dana.

Not that it would harm the contacts if you touch them, but if someone is that ***** you can simply wipe the sim contacts with a soft cloth moistened in Isopropyl alcohol which will remove any fingerprints and/or oil leaving no residue. Another alternative is get a piece of sticky tape and press it against the contacts a few times which will lift any debris, fingerprints etc.

Too easy!
Enjoy your sparkling clean sim gold contacts. :smileytongue: lol.

If you're in need of your phone number you've definitely come to the right place.  I'd be more than happy to provide you with the necessary details.

To provide you with this information I will need to firstly gain access to your account.  There are a couple of details I'll need from you to arrange this so I've sent you a Private Message with my contact details.  Your Private Messages can be accessed here.

I'll keep an eye out for your email and look forward to discussing your query with you further.

Thanks!

Alana.
