Questions on $10 prepaid cap

Message 1 of 5 (1,655 Views)

I'm currently on TEXT & TALK. Can I add the $10 (expire 7 days) prepaid cap while I am on TEXT & TALK? Can I purchase the recharge in Coles / Woolies?

* I just finished my credits and need to make a lot of calls next week so I consider the $10 cap :smileyhappy:

* I also have V2V mins, free text and internet data left. Will I lose everything after the recharge of $10 cap?

When you recharge your account with a fresh amount, the new recharge will take over from the existing. This means that in your situation, after you recharge with the $10 Cap, you'll have $100 flexible credit to use for 7 days, but none of the other bonuses you've accumulated (eg. V2V minutes and free TXT) will be available for use.

Absolutely. You can purchase this recharge anywhere our recharges are available. You can see the full list of options for recharging on our website here.

However you won't lose these free minutes and TXT, they'll be sitting dormant until you recharge again with Text & Talk, then they'll spring back into action!

If you're going to be heavy on the calls for a little while, I'd suggest looking at our All-Time recharges. They've got some great infinite call inclusions. You can view details of the All-Time recharge on our website here.

I hope that helps answer your question, when changing between recharge types it can be a little confusing. Please let me know if you need help clarifying any points.

Thanks, Bart.

The $10 prepaid cap only lasts for 7 days. If I use $5 of the flexi credit to purchase a 30 day internet essentials plan, will the plan last for 30 days or expire after 7 days?

Great question!

When you purchase the internet essentials pack with a 30 day expiry, this won't change your $10 Prepaid Cap's expiry date. You will need to make sure you have at least $4 credit remaining on your account though, otherwise you won't be able to access the internet.

Basically when you access the internet, your phone will first check to see if you have credit. If you do, you'll then start using your data allocation. If you have no credit, your phone won't be able to access data.
