Hello,
I accidentally put a prepaid mobile broadband sim card in my new phone when I was activating it. I've already given out the new number to loads of people but can I even use this to make phone calls and texts? Can I recharge it on a plan other than "mobile broadband" which is what it says it is when I dial the recharge number?

You can currently receive calls and TXTs with the Mobile Broadband SIM card in your phone however the reason you can't make calls or send TXTs is because the Mobile Broadband prepaid SIM comes only with Data so essentially you don't have any available credit for calls and TXTs.
We’re in the process of making some system changes which means it will be one of two ways to get you up and running. I'll just need you to please enter your number here and if the page takes you straight to MyVodafone then you will be able to recharge with a Voice recharge and you'll be up and running to send TXTs and make calls.
If it loads the information up for you via the link supplied and doesn't take you to MyVodafone then you'll just need to pop into a local Vodafone store or anywhere that sells prepaid starter packs (supermarkets, service stations etc) and activate we can transfer the Mobile Broadband number over to the new SIM when you activate.
Let me know if you have any questions at all or if your not seeing anything like what I've described above and I'd be happy to help.
Thank you,
Charlotte
