Hi,

If I am a vodafone pre-paid user with vodafone number. (from number of years ago)

I was given a phone which is vodafone and has all the internet apps that can be used.

I dont wnt to use the sim pre-paid card that came with the phone but the sim card i have

now with my exisiting number. (as this sim would need to be activated and a new number issues

for the new sim card)

I have placed my sim card in the phone and it works ok.

so i can send and recieve calls and txt.

I am on the 29$ flexi cap.

But I think the sim card i have for number of years might

not be able to be used so i can access the internet and internet apps on the phone.

or get the internet connection over vodafone network.

If this is the case, what must I do to have this vodafone number I have had for some years

so i can use the internet apps on the phone.

Do i need to activiate the number in some way so i can use the internet apps and have access to internet on the phone.

because it might be an old vodafone number.

any help be good

HI Rob2011

Certainly if you registered that SIM before internet was available on mobile phones we may need to make some changes to your account so that you can access data services. What error message do you get when you try to access the internet?
