Hi Ra40Rob,
That sounds quite frustrating! I'm happy to do some troubleshooting with you and your wife to see if we can resolve this for you. How long has this been happening for? Is your wife a prepaid customer, and if so when did she last recharge and with what type of voucher? Do you get the error message after she has sent a message/ made a call or is it just arriving at random times?
Is she able to use the service to make/receive calls text data etc?
Has the handset been restarted/battery out in recently to refresh the connection to the network?
Thanks,
Kate
EDIT: insert full stop.

been happening for about a month
probably was went she tried to send text without credit, but i deleated the message so it would not try and send again.
she recharged about 2 weeks ago with prepaid 29 cap.
will get that message even if she has left the phone at home for a few days, could have up to 9 sys-alert messages..
the phone works as normal calls in/out web browsing ets all good.
we have also let the phone go flat, take battery out and turn off.
even when we let the phone be off and flat for a day we turned it on we go sys-alert messages come up just after it started up.
Went you make a call it comes up with "active incoming call diverts" but have canceled all diverts in settings!

Hi Ra40Rob,
Thanks for your reply.
I think we had better check out the account and make sure no settings are causing this error. I have seen this happen when a failed message remains in the phones outbox but not when it is clear, I can imagine how frustrating it would be to receive continual messages advising you have no credit when you do!
So I can do this can you please email online.help@vodafone.com.au. Please include the effected mobile number, PIN, information on this issue and a link to this post. So your email is directed to the correct place please put this code: 885CKIGI in the subject field.
Look forward to working it out for you both!
Thanks
Kate

It sounds like premium text because the $29 PrePay Cap doesn't allow them, your wife gets this message every time a premium text is received and not paid for.

Hi Ra4ORob,
Our standard prepaid recharges do not include credit for Premium Messaging, but if you want to use these services you can recharge with Extras credit, which you can read about here.
For more information on Premium Messaging, including how to bar Premium Messages from your account visit our website here.
Thanks,
Kate
