Samsung b2710 unlock issues - help!

Hi there,

 

I signed a 24month contact with Vodafone for the $50 Infinite Business plan with a Samsung b2710 handset a few months ago, and was assured unlocking the phone would be straightforward and quick online. I've just tried to input the IMEI number via the website in order to receive the unlocking instructions, and I'm greeted with 'Handset IMEI not found'.

 

I unfortunately don't have time to wait 4 business days just to be contacted by support, and need the handset unlocked and fucnctional for use with other networks by next week, as I'm traveling and need to be able to pop another sim in there.

 

Can a rep please help me get this actioned so that I can receive unlock instructions and be unlocked as soon as possible? Would be greatly appreciated. (Please reply to this post and I can forward through the IMEI number via private message.)

Help would be sincerely appreicated.. I really don't want / nor can I afford, to buy a new phone just to be able to use another carrier's sim with..

 

Can my phone be unlocked for use by Monday morning at the latest?

I can certainly understand that this is extremely frustrating for you, I will need to have a chat with the handset unlocking team to see what we can do here.
