Hi all
Will the 3G+ roll out in September improve indoor reception?
At the moment the only compatable device is the new iPad(3rd Gen). Will the new iPad be compatable with the new
4G service that will be deployed in 2013? I'm very interested to understand what devices will be able to access these
new Voda services in the future.
Cheers Paul

Hi pb,
We are quite excited with the roll out of the 3G+ and 4G standard across our network and the increased data speeds will be so good it may just blow your socks off!

3G+ is designed more for increased data throughput than increased coverage. The continuing expansion of the 850Mhz across the Australia provides the infrastructure of the increased coverage and the new Huawei equipment that we are installing into these towers provides the data speeds. If you'd like to look at the coverage in your area then you can take a peek at our coverage map which will show what frequencies we have in the locations you pop into the map.

As we have just announced the 3G+ and 4G implementation through the press release and it's still a little ways off, we will release details of handsets and plans closer to the time. As you can understand handsets change so quickly and what's available now may not be current when we "flick the 4G switch". We have an interesting article here on our Blog that goes through a few more details.
If you have any further questions on 3G+ or 4G drop me post and I will be happy to have a chat about it with you
Cheers,
Dana.

Thanks Dana
I'd say the next Gen iPhone is a given for 3G+ & 4G?
What about the latest iPad (New iPad Gen 3) Will that work with 4G next year?
