vodafone pocket wifi 2 - huawei E585 - is very slow and unlimited slow.
I'm very upset in Lidcombe, NSW, 2141.
Why is Vodafone Pocket wifi 2 so slow ?
I tested the internet speed
#1 . TPG ADSL 2 - LAN Cable
Result: Wow speed
#2. Three Pocket Wifi 2 - Huawi E585
Result: Reasonable
#3. Vodafone Pocket Wifi 2 - Huawi E585
Result: It took for ages to open the website http://speedtest.net/ .
so I couldn't be patient to do speed test..

I tried to swap Three Pocket Wifi and Vodafone Pocket Wifi Sim card but results were same = UNLIMITED SLOW.
so now What kind of options do I have ?

Thanks for taking the time to collate those figures and give me a rundown on the current performance of your Pocket WiFi 2. The speeds you have described and the service you are currently experiencing is definitely not the kind of performance we have intended for our customers, particularly in an area with great coverage, such as yours.
Checking over our coverage map, I can see there are a few areas in Lidcombe that are high traffic areas, which could be having an impact on your service, especially at times of the day when there are quite a few users jumping on. Do you find that there are times of the day when your service is quicker than others? Also, I'm interested to know if you have taken your Pocket WiFi to a different location, and if that brought any different results. For an area with great coverage such as yours, moving the device to a different location is a good way to isolate the issue to a particular area. For example, if you were to take the WiFi down the road and get good speeds, this suggests that the issue may be specific to a small area situated around your home, which in that case will require further investigation.

I'm really looking forward to getting some more information so we can explore some what options are available. I really appreciate the initial info you have provided, and once you get back to me, I'll continue to assist you in the best way I can.
Kind Regards,
James.

(before the testing, Why Three Pocket Wifi 2 works fine at the same condition ? Any comments ? )

is it possible ?
Thanks for taking the time to test the speed of your device in a different location.
I'd like to take a look at a few different options for you, which will require me to access a couple of details on your account. I've sent you a PM with instructions on how to send your information through to me, and you can access your PMs by clicking this link. Once you send your info through, I'll be able to go into some more specific troubleshooting and look at some different ways of getting your service up to speed.
I'm looking forward to speaking with you again, and taking the time to further isolate the issues with your Pocket WiFi.
Kind Regards,
James.
