It certainly does! The new Pocket WiFi Pro is designed to support HSPA 21 (up to 21.1Mbps where available) on our standard 3G network . You can read all about coming upgrades to our networks and what devices will be compatible on our website here.
In the meantime, if you have any other questions about our current range of devices and services, I'd be happy to help you out with them.
Cheers,
-Bruno.

Hi Bruno,
Can you please explain to me the difference between the new WiFi Pro and it's predecessor, the WiFi 2 (E585u-82, the one that supports 850Mhz)?
Thanks

The main difference between the new Pocket WiFi Pro and it's predecessor, is it's ability to take full advantage of the HSPA 21 on our current 3G network, as well as some great improvements to make it easier and more efficient to use.
The new Pocket WiFi device is capable of connection speeds up to 21.1Mbps (where available), features battery life of up to 4.5 hours (with 5 devices connected) and has a newly improved user interface to make it easier to use than ever.
I've linked you to the Pocket WiFi page on our website here. If there is anything specific that you would like to know about the device, please let me know.
Cheers,
-Bruno.

Hi
I got an email saying i was entitled to free upgrade to the pocket wifi pro. It says if i upgrade to the $29 plan i get the pro free and you waive any months left on my current contract, as i am already on the $29 plan am i still entitled to the offer?
And would it be worth upgrading to the pro? Would i notice any difference as i have the wifi 2 at the moment?
I did call the 1300 number but got sick of waiting for someone to answer.

If you have received this offer via email, you are definitely eligible regardless of what plan you're currently on.

The main difference between the Pocket WiFi 2 and the Pocket WiFi Pro is that the Pro is HSPA21 compatible (theoretical maximum speed of 21MBps ), where as the Pocket WiFi 2 is has a theoretical maximum speed of 8MBps.
The Pocket WiFi pro also has a slightly longer battery life of 4.5 hours when 5 users are connected.
If you would like to take up the offer you have received, I can arrange for our upgrades team to give you a call at your convenience. To organise this for you, I'll need some account information from you via email.
I have sent you a private message containing my email address, you can access your private messages by clicking on the small envelope in the top right hand corner of this page, or by clicking here.
I look forward to getting the ball rolling on this upgrade for you.
Regards,
Sarah.

Hi Sarah,a few of my friends who are with Vodafone received an e-mail explaining they could upgrade their current wi-fi modem to the new pro one for free but I didnt get one. I've been on the $69 12 month pocket wi-fi contract since March If I remember correctly and was wondering If I'm elligeble for the upgrade and If so,what are the terms and conditions? I was going to cease my contract once it expired but I may stay with Vodafone depending on what the go is with the new device. Thanks,Richard!

Depending on how long ago your friends connected their services, they may be at the end of their contracts and ready to upgrade their services. Generally with a 12 month plan, the early upgrade period is in the final month of the plan, which is when we would send out information bout new devices and offers.
You can upgrade your service at any point during your contract, though there may be a cost to do so before you're in the final month. An early exit fee is worked out by multiplying your minimum monthly plan cost, with the time remaining on your current plan.
If you like, I'd be happy to look at what upgrade options are available for you right now and let you know about any offers that you may be eligible for. I'll need to get a couple of details to do this for you, so I've sent you a private message with my contact details, you can get to it by clicking here.
If there's anything else that I can help you with in the meantime, let me know and I will be happy to take care of it for you.
Cheers,
-Bruno.

Bruno, you might want to check the specs of the Pocket Wifi Pro on the page that you've provided a link to in this post. It appears that they belong to the previous older model. Someone must have updated most of the page but overlooked updating the specs to that of the newer better model.
It says - 3G: 850/900/2100 (HSPA+ 8Mbps Max, Average download 1Mbps). Surely that can't be right.
