Does vodafone provide a service that one can auto shut off the connection once the cap limit is reached? The usage history on the website has 24--48 hr delay so it is quite useless. This will prevent people from getting excess usage charges. I know a prepaid broadband can do that. When the limit is reached, it will just enroute the user to vodafone website asking for a recharge.

One of the great advantages of a post paid service is still being able to use service once you've finished your monthly value. There is no option to prevent you from using your services once you've used your monthly value, however, at this stage usage is being updated and showing through My Vodafone between 4-24 hours and is a great way to monitor usage.
Thanks,

I think it is more of a disadvantage than advantage because most people don't like to pay the excessive extra usage. As you can see, there are many posts complaining about the outrangeous extra usage fee. It would be very nice if a post-paid plan works similarly to the pre-paid, which enroutes the user to a screen after the cap is up and let the user to elect whether to continue or not. Then, there is no surprise bill. Of course, in reality, vodafone and any other companies just want to make money off the consumers in an unintentionally moment.
