Hi,

I have just purchased one of these from Coles.

Question I have is regarding unlocking further down the track.

Will the cost to unlock remain the same regardless of how many recharges I do ?.

Currently it would cost me $75 to unlock online so wondering if that will drop in cost after I recharge the sim a couple of times .

Not needing to change from VF at the moment but would be handy for it I venture out of a VF reception area into a Telstra area (regional) and need internet.

The Huawei Pocket WiFi 2 modem, is a "hard-locked" device, this means that there will be a charge to unlock the device even if you have recharged the device numerous times.

The cost to unlock a device will depend on how the device is locked, the method you choose to unlock the device and also how long you have had the device for.

If you've had the device for longer than 6 months, the cost to unlock the device online (via our unlocking tool) will be $25.00
