I purchased a pocketwifi starter kit a while ago to test out Vodafone MBB. Is it possible to change from prepaid to a "month to month" plan keeping my current SIM card?
It's certainly possible to change from a prepaid mobile broadband service to a month to month plan, however you'd need a new SIM for the month to month service- it' not possible to use the existing prepaid SIM.
I would be happy to help you organise a month to month mobile broadband SIM though.
Before you can get a month-to-month service, you'll need to run through an application and pass a credit check. You can do this in a Vodafone store, or over the phone with our Direct to You Team by calling 1300 300 404. They will help you run through an application, and set you up with a new SIM once your application is successful.
To get an idea of the different month to month options available, check out our website, here. If you click on the BYO Modem button, this will bring up the different options we offer without a new modem. You can continue to use your existing Pocket WiFi with a new SIM in it.
If you aren't able to pop in to a store or call up, then I can arrange for a member of the Direct to You Team to give you a call. If you'd prefer this option then please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, using the unique code 813CNSFI as the subject so I can easily locate your email. Please also include all the details listed in our email guide.
Let me know if you have any other questions, or send me an email if you'd like us to call you. Otherwise, pop in to a store or call us up in your own time and we'll happily help you run through an application.
