Hi,
I have been a valuable 3 customer for quite some time now and finally have decided to make the transfer from 3 to Vodafone. I received my new phone and sim within a few days which was great.
I immediately called and activated my vodafone sim and was told that it would take 3 - 24 hours for my number to transfer over from 3 to Vodafone. It has now been over 60 hours and still no sign of the transfer. I called 1300 660 454 and was told that nothing could be done as the department who handles this doesn't work on weekends. This is ridiculous. I don't even know whether it is in the process of being transfered and cannot even use my 3 sim for now as it doesn't work in Vodafone handsets.
I'm very disappointed in the service so far and expected it to be a quick and easy process.

Your right, your transition from 3 to Vodafone should be a very smooth process and it is disappointing to hear about your experience. The good news is I can certainly help you with your transition and have this sorted for you as soon as possible.
It's great that you took the initiative to call the Vodafone Welcome team on 1300 660 454, as this is the quickest way to have issues sorted. Have you had a chance to get in contact with this team today?
You will know that your port has been successful when your current 3 SIM stops working. I understand your 3 SIM doesn't work in your new phone, are you able to unlock your new handset on our website here? Alternatively are you able to try using your 3 SIM in your old device?
This information will help determine if there is an issue with the port or with your new Vodafone SIM.
