I am currently with three and have finished my 24 month contract for $29 HTC Magic and am still paying monthly. I am interested in a Galaxy Nexus contract and noticed that existing VODAFONE customers get 10% off their monthly fees when they start a new contract. I went into the three/vodafone store and asked whether because I was with three I would be eligible for this discount, and the guy didn't seem interested and bluntly said 'no'. After being dissapointed in three/vodafone as I'm fairly sure three used to offer discounts to existing customers I'd expect vodafone to offer discounts to three customers since well, they are the same company now anyways...
I was wondering whether I could somehow migrate my current three account to vodafone and then upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus plan and be eligible for the 10% discount? And I was wondering that if I could do that, how long would it take as there are two phones on this account.
Sorry for the rant,
Dave.

Hi Dave,
You currently have a LOT of bargaining power. You could've changed over 4 months ago and got a brand new contract if you knew about the strategies being offered by Vodafone.
Don't go to shops. Call their sales over the phone. Bargain for 3 free months or you'll go elsewhere... Easy as that...

The 10% off access fees promotion, did you see this on our website? This promotion is for existing customers that add a second service to their account. You can view this online here.

You mentioned there are two phones on your current account, do you mean two separate mobile services, or one mobile service with two phones? If you'd like, I can discuss the migration with you via email, and arrange for our upgrades team to give you a call today.
I have sent you a private message containing my contact details, and information that I will require from you. Please note that I'm unable to provide help and support via private messages, so I'll wait for your email or community reply.

Sarah.
