minimum customer requirement

Message 1 of 7 (612 Views)

Hi support team,

I tried to apply a contract today in a vodafone store, however, in the final step of the process, the system reports that I can not meet the minimum customer requirement. Therefore, I can not sign a contract. I just wondered what is the reason I can not meet it and how can I make it up.

Looking forward to your reply!

Best Regards!

zhi

Just a guess but I'd say you failed the credit check (Not a vodafone employee so it's honestly just a guess)

Do you have a credit card/owe money/haven't been paying it back regularly? Previously bankrupt? There are a number of things that could cause vodafone to reject you based on your credit rating.

Hi DarkRyoushii,

Thanks for your reply. I'm just a new comer to Australia no more than 10 days, the things you mentioned I have never experienced.

There are a variety of factors that may impact on why you have not been approved for a contract with Vodafone AU. Some of these factors our Assessment team look into are, your source of income, your Visa expiry , credit checking outcomes, how long you have been at your current address, as well as many more factors.

I will not be able to advise the exact reason as to why your application was unsuccessful but I do recommend taking a look into our PrePaid offers.

Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding any other Vodafone AU Services.

Hi Jess,

Thanks for your reply. I want to know how can I check to get the specified reason. For example, if it is visa expiry, then I can not do anything, what I can do is just to give up applying. However if it is because source of income, it means I can re-apply when I get a job.

BTW, I have be a prepaid vodaphone customer as I arrived at Australia.

The systems we use assess all information you provide us when you apply for an account and we have many factors that could be the cause of why your application has not been successful in this instance.

I do not have access to why you would have been unsuccessful but I do invite you to reapply in the next 3-6 months if your circumstances do change.

Have a lovely day
