I got a email bill today and it said

'Your Vodafone email bill for 23-07-2012 to 24-07-2012'

i made a contract with vodafone Macquarie centre on 23/07 ($59 plan + $5 installment Galaxy 3)

do i have to pay $67.93 per every single day?

i dont know why should i pay monthly charges even if i used it for just a day.

As a new customer to vodafone, i need an explanation on my bill.

Hi there uksama,

Vodafone usually charges upfront on their bills, so the only explanation would be that:

You are paying $64 ($59 + $5) for the upcoming bill which would be from 24th of July till 23rd of August and $3.93 for the credit you have used between the 23rd and the 24th.

^^ makes a lot of sense dude. That's exactly how it is.

I think your billing cycle is on the 24th of each month. So your next bill will be due on the 24th of August as Ahmato has suggested.

If it is still unclear, you can give 1555 and speak to the billing team and they will provide you with more detailed information.

Welcome to Vodafone, I hope you enjoying your service with us thus far and I'll certainly help you with any queries that you have. 

Ahmato and itsmoe are correct; we charge your plan one month in advance to your account, on you bill cycle date. The billing date you receive when you sign up isn't generally the same day you connect with us and therefore your first bill includes a part monthly charge for the time your connected before your bill cycle date.
