faulty billing system

Message 1 of 2 (605 Views)

I have $59 dollar plan and which gives me $700 amount of call. I regularly check my Today when I checked my balance, it was showing I have a extra usage of 228 dollars. I checked my March bill, I found there is no extra charge in my bill. So I called vodafone, they informed me that their billing system was down from 14 March to 17 March 2012, and any usage during that period wasn't reflected. Now they are asking me to pay the pay. This is ridiculas.

It sounds like you have exceeded your plan entitlements or used a service that is not included in your plan for the current billing month.  If this is the case you can find out what the excess charge is for by logging into MyVodafone and selecting the Usage Details tab. There is an article on how to access this information here. The information provided here will highlight what charges have been excluded from your cap entitlement.

If you exceeded your plan because of data usage you can choose to add extra data to your cap. Information on data packs and how to add them to your plan can be found here.

I would say that the amount showing in MyVodafone is related to the current month, which is yet to be billed, rather than a previous month's invoice.

Thanks

Millie
