Japan...Spain ...to name a few ... { http://www.mutube.com/projects/open-email-to-sms/gateway-list/ } Would you please forward me the details necessary for me to use this service.... thanks...

Email to SMS (and vice versa) services are not something that we currently offer or support through Vodafone Australia.

You do have the functionality to send MMS to an email address (simply substitute the phone number for an email address), though these are charged at standard MMS pricing for your plan.

You may be able to find a third party software package or application that would enable you to send email to SMS, though I cannot specifically recommend an individual solution as we do not support the service.

The short answer is that we operate a network that is independent of other Vodafone networks and with that comes some differences in services offered. While I can't share specific reasons why we do or don't offer a particular service, your feedback has reached the right people and it is appreciated, we always want to hear which services matter to you most.

If Vodafone Aust doesn't provide this service, can you please tell me how I can use the Android App, Where's My Droid on my Samsung Note?

Is there a work around that we can use.?

With the exception of being able to sent a text to your phone from your email address, all of the other features of "Where's my Droid" will operate in the same way that they would on any other network.

As "Where's my Droid" is not a Vodafone application or something that we directly support, your best resource for information on how to get the most out of the app, is to contact the developer. You can contact them directly form their website by clicking here.
