Hi Vodafone
please help escalate the port, because I cant use the new phone without the porting to be completed.
I activated the SIM card via automated phone procedure, and just waiting now......optus number still works

I appreciate you letting me know how you have activated your service. That is really helpful to let me know what the next steps may be. Do you currently have the new SIM in your new Vodafone device? If so can you please advise if you are seeing network connectivity? The reason I ask is I want to see if your activation was successful to another number.
Generally if a Port is not completed within a few hours there is a minor detail wrong in the system which can easily be fixed.
So I can check on your port and see why it has not yet completed I have sent you a Private Message with my contact details so that I can follow this up for you.
I look forward to getting to the bottom of this with you

yes the micro sim is in the phone
when doing a network search it can see all the telcos
if i try to connect to Vodafone, it wont allow me ie unable to connect

Haha. Thank you all the same. Because my number has been ported already. But the time is a little bit long, it takes me more than 3 days. Maybe I am not so lucky ![]()
