Can you please advise when the Samsung Wave GT-S8500 will recieve an Firmware update? as I have found that some of my Apps will not work on old firmware!

Hi Rick,

Thanks for posting about your issue in the Community.  We do not have a date as of yet however we are releasing different upgrades and patches all the time, and you can keep up to date with the latest news around upgrades for your handset and others by following our blog, here. This is the first place we notify customers about new firmware updates, including instructions on how to install them and use them effectively.

One and a half years since I own an S8500 Wave and still no update in sight. Other Wave phones come with 1.2 or 2.0 out of the box. When will we finally get an update?

I don't currently have any information regarding software updates for the S8500 Wave, I'm sorry.
