Hi Vodafone support team
I am looking for help with cancelling my Vodafone contract which i tried signing up back in December 2011 /January 2012. I arrived Australia in December 2012 from the UK and I signed up a Vodafone contract via online service (and I have used Vodafone in the UK).
As I only arrived Australia for a short time, I wasn't sure if my application will be sucessful so I emailed Vodafone several times to confirm if my application has been sucessful. After weeks of no response, I convinced myself that my application has been rejected (or ignored completely).... perhaps due to the lack of credit history. I gave up with contract and bought myself a prepaid Woolworth mobile sim to get myself on the mobile phone network.
Months later, I received a bill from Vodafone that I need to pay my first month contract subscriptions. I then spent hours on the phone explaining to vodafone helpline that I never received confirmation (other than the first email that said that my application is being reviewed). Moreover, I never received any mobile phone that suppose to come with the contract and someone is always at home for that period to sign for any posts/parcels. After spending hours with vodafone customer service, which I called from my woolworths mobile, Vodafone finally understood my situation and agreeded to cancel the contract.
However, until today I am still receiving an outstanding payment reminder for the first month of contract subscription. I don't feel like spending a lot of money again on phone bill just to explain the whole drama to Vodafone customer service. Can someone help me to remove the outstanding / late payment that is billed to me every month via email? I don't want my to damage my credit rating because this as I might want to subscribed to Vodafone in the future.

If your order was submitted through our online store, you should have received a confirmation email to advise you of whether your order was successful or declined.
Which email address were you using to ask about your order? If you let me know I can look into why your enquiries were not responded to.

I'd really like to take a closer look at the account for you so that I can see what was done when you spoke to us last and also what needs to be done to stop these invoices from being sent.

Form there, I will make sure that the account is closed off and that there is no outstanding amount for you.

I am more than happy to look into the issue for you and get it all resolved.
