Possible silly question
...why do I have a 'free GPRS data bundle' allowance in my 'My Vodafone' iPhone app? Shouldn't it be just a data plan allowance?
Isn't GPRS 2G technology?
I'm on a $49 ($550 calls, 1.5Gb data) plan with an iPhone 4 (16Gb) that I got late last year.

Thanks for the reply.
Using your analogy, if I'm seeing the second bucket because the first is empty, wouldn't I see reference to an empty bucket somewhere? Additionally I have major issues using data via 3G and live in a no range area. How is it possible that I'm emptying the first bucket when a) I can't use data on 3G and b) I spend most of my time in a no range area?
Any ideas?

Dannyg931 is exactly right - thanks Dannyg931!
GPRS bundle is simply the name of your data bundle. As dannyg931 has said sometimes our billing system breaks your data allowance into to "buckets" - a GPRS data bundle bucket and a domestic data bucket.
There's no difference in the way your service uses the data in either bucket - if 3G is available your phone will use 3G. GPRS is 2G technology you're absolutely correct; however the name of the bundle doesn't mean you're using 2G, it's just the name of the bundle.
We've split dannyg931's data into two buckets and that's why he can see both when he checks his MyVodafone account whereas your data is all in the one bucket. You've mentioned you're on the $49 plan with 1.5GB of data; as long as MyVodafone is showing you have 1.5GB of data in that bucket you can be confident your account is set up correctly.
If you have any questions or concerns about the data included with your service please let me know - I can help.
Thanks,
Kirsty.

Good morning
Following on with GPRS, I have 200MB of Free GPRS and 700MB of Domestice Data Volume Anytime Bundle (DDVAB) under the $30 plan.
As from what I read, once I used up all my 700MB of DDVAB, any further usage will automatically moved to the free GPRS?
Thanks
Erick
