Cancel Contract

Hello.

 

My contract will end at Mar 2013 and I have to move to overseas recently, so can you help me cancel my contract

Hi there RyanD0517,

 

Good to see that you are doing the right thing by letting Vodafone know.

 

Vodafone will surely miss you. Now in regards to cancelling you contract, some termination fees will apply, unfortunately these will have to be paid.

 

So roughly this is what you have to pay= (Monthly cap/plan payment + mobile installment fees) x 7 months left on your contract. I could be wrong but one of the guys will respond back to your post and provide you with more accurate information, and how to go with cancelling your contract.

 

Once again we wish you a safe trip and hope you get this fixed up asap.

I can certainly look into cancelling your contract as you have moved overseas.

 

Have you moved permanently and don't anticipate coming back to Australia in the near future?  Once I disconnect the account the number then you won't be able to get it back if you did come back to Australia.  If you are coming back and would like to keep the account active then you can opt to suspend it for up to 3 months at a cost of $11 per month.  There is more information about suspending an account here.

 

Itsmoe has explained really well how the Early Termination Fees are calculated and this will be sent out on your final invoice and it's best to have email billing activated, as once your service is disconnected you won't be able to access MyVodafone from that time.
