Hey guys,
This is my story,
I called Vodafone two days ago as I'm a 3 customer, I was asking for the best deal for me but wasn't happy with what I was offered, so I called them again today, and I was offered the Samasung Galaxy Nexus on the $59 monthly cap and all I have to pay is $51 this happened on the 23rd at around 2pm, as I wanted to migrate my account and have it under my brother in law's account I was unable to sign up at that exact moment I was given that offer, so therefore I had to wait for my bro-in-law to get back from work and call Vodafone again as I was extremely happy with the offer.
What do you know? When I called back I was told that the offer was invalid, when I told the girl/lady (rather not name her) that the offer was really given to me she checked over the notes on my account and she said that I was give a $55 dollar offer. I was upset but kept my cool, tried speaking to a supervisor who was very rude and disrespectful.
Let me make this clear that it's not the $3 or 4 dollar difference that got me upset, it's what I was told and how much of an idiot I looked like when I called back, it's the dishonesty and the unorganized notes which didn't makes sense on my account that fired me up.
What I was trying to understand was, all they said to me earlier and what they told me later on that night was the complete opposite, I've been with 3 for over 6 years and I've always paid my bills on time, I don't see why I have to be misstreated, especially when my cousin who has been with 3 for the same period if not less was able to get the iPhone 4S 64GB free on the $59 + $11 (installments WAIVED) with extra $8 credit, so he all he has to pay is $51, plus the account cancellation fees waived as well.
I don't see what's reason behind this unfair treatment, I'm very unsatisfied with the customer service I received from you guys today, I'm generally saying good things about Vodafone and encouraging people to jump along, but not after this, and am seriously looking into filing a formal complaint againt the people who I had to deal with (I have call ref numbers and the supervisor's name) and the rude supervisor who shouldn't really be in a position to supervise other rude customer advisors.
I'd like someone from vodafone to comment on this as I'd like to see if this can be resolved before I do file a complaint and take this further.
Thank you and hope to hear from someone who can actually help and talk sense instead of screaming and shouting over me.
Best regards,

Hi itsmoe,
I'm really sorry to hear you have been provided conflicting offers and information. I would definitely like to take a look into this for you and to see what I am able to do for you.
I'd like to take a look into your account first and work from there. I've sent you a private message with my email contact details for you to forward your account information to.
I look forward to receiving your email to help you further.

Dear Caitlin,
I think my bro-in-law has spoken to Vodafone again and I think he might have resolved the issue, Maybe someone with respect spoke to him and came to a deal, I will check with him and let you know.
I'm sure there are a lot of nice speaking customer advisors as I personally was treated right and was given a good deal, was very surprised with the way the supervisor spoke to me and my brother on law yesterday.
Once again thank you for your time and I will be in touch sometime soon.
Have a lovely day.

Hey Caitlin,
As it seems, he did end up giving the upgrade department a call and he spoke to another supervisor who was very helpful and was able to iffer the same offer that was intially offer to my bro-in-law.
As this has been resolved, you can take this post down. I wil not be filing any complaint. Thank you again for your reply.
Have a good one ![]()
