Hi There,

I'm on the $59 cap on a 12 month contract with an iPhone 4S.

I understand the $59 cap has 1.5gb data and/or 1.5gb data and Infinite BlackBerry Internet (BIS). 

I was wondering if I get a compatbale blackberry handset outright while still in contract for my iPhone 4S can / will vodafone enable BIS at no charge for me to use a blackberry on my account or will it cost extra?

Hey mate,

I do believe that this could be possible but I also think that it isn't possible, the reason is you can either be on one the other, but I could be wrong.

One of the guys here will clarify this with you.

Meanwhile, if you want to get a quicker answer, you can call 1555 from your Vodafone number and speak to one of the upgrade department staff for more info.

We can certainly enable BIS for you, and there would be no cost to do this. It requires different network settings at our end though, so it's not possible to have both options running simultaneously if that is what you mean.

A change to a Blackberry from the iPhone 4S is also likely to require a sim swap, so we could enable BIS at the same time.
