Hi guys,

As per your weekly wrap up, the more recent update for the Lumia 800 was meant to be released over a 24 day update process. Those 24 days have been way over and non of us have been able to update.

Kieran who is (I believe) in charge of the weekly wrap is not responding back to our comments, I'm not sure whether he is in the office or not, but we need answers please.

Can someone check with your software update department and let us know what is the go?

We're aware of the delay and are working to resolve it, I know you're very keen to get your hands on it!

I'll be updating the other thread when fresh news arrives, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the thread over here.

I'll let Kieran know your feedback about the blog, I'm sure he won't be far away

Hello again Bart,

I have updated my Lumia successfully (Thank God), and it feels so much faster and smoother but I was unable to download the Camera Extras! I have checked on the Market and it's not on there.

Do you know if the camera updates will be available in Australia?

Stoked to hear that your update worked well and that your loving the improvements. It's amazing what a difference a few extra software changes can make hey! I've had a look on our blog here and and can see that the Lumia 800 update was designed to improve the below features-

• - Better battery performance
• - Camera automatically detects 50/60Hz to remove flicker in stills and videos.
• - Updated camera settings.
• - Improved charger detection. 

Did this part of the camera update work for you? At this point in time I can't see any other info on any further camera updates for the Lumia. Your best bet would be to keep an eye out on our Software Weekly Wrap on our blog here. This is where we pop the latest software news and updates as soon as we know anything.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

I can see from your response that you are referring to the older update which I have updated ages ago. There was a new update which was made available only a couple of days ago.

Now from what I read on the net and from Nokia themselves, the update should bring with it an extra Nokia exclusive update which is called Camera Extras. We are yet to receive this update. Was hoping that you guys might have some more info about this.

Go to WP Central here: http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia-camera-extras-starting-global-roll-out-now-available-uk-australia-and...

There's a QR code on the page. 

Tap Bing Search-->Vision on your Lumia 800 and scan the QR code. Tap the address that appears on your screen. It should take you to the Camera Extras app on the Marketplace.

Once installed, check under the Camera Settings of your phone for a new "Camera Extras" menu.
