Any expectations on when vodafone will get the codes?
It is sort of rediculous that you are selling people locked phones but not having the code to unlock it. Maybe trying to force people to use International Roaming?
Hi caudex,
Unlock codes for Samsung Galaxy S II are now available!
Once you have obtained your unlock code from our unlocking page insert a SIM (not a Vodafone or 3 SIM) and turn your phone on. The message "SIM network unlock PIN" will then appear on your screen. Enter your unlock code and press the "unlock" to complete the unlocking process.
Thanks
Jemma

Hi Jemma,
I am leaving next monday, im not sure if I would be able to get the phone in time via your onlines sales.
Would the best option be to visit your stores and see who has stock?
Thanks
Steve

Stevo123,
I have good news! Unlock codes for Samsung Galaxy S II are now available on our unlocking page. If you would like to speak to one of our upgrade team members about upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S II let me know and I can arrange a call back for you.
Thanks
Jemma
Hey Guys,
As Jemma posted, the codes are now available for your Samsung Galaxy S II however the instructions for the unlocking process are not online just yet. Follow the below steps to unlock your phone;
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY UNLOCK PROCESS
This procedure unlocks the handset from being network restricted. In case of difficulties, please refer to the FAQ listed below
1. Take note of the unlocking code shown above.
2. Insert a SIM card that is neither a Vodafone Australia SIM card nor a 3Australia SIM card.
3. Ensure the phone is charged and then switch the phone on.
4. Optional Step: If the SIM card has a PIN, enter your PIN number. (See FAQ below).
5. A new screen will appear with the following:
6. “SIM network unlock PIN”.
7. Please enter the unlock code from above then press the “unlock” symbol.
8. The handset will then start. To confirm the unlock was successful you can now make and receive calls. (You will need reception and phone credit with the different network provider)
Please Note:If a wrong unlocking code is entered, it will display “Network unlock request unsuccessful.” and return to the unlock screen.
FAQ:
Question: My phone asks to enter a PIN number
Answer: For SIM cards with PIN ENABLED you will be required to enter a PIN. This is not the unlocking code that has just been provided. For information concerning the PIN, PIN2, PUK and PUK2 codes for a SIM card please read the manual that came with your phone. This is not a handset unlocking difficulty.
Thanks!!

Hi Stevo123,
As the store is not able to fulfil an order placed online you would have to cancel your online order and then visit the store. Depending on how far along your order is this may not be the best option. What does it say when you track your order ?
If you haven't already placed an order, the quickest option would be to grab your phone from one of our stores. Just note that some deals are online only so the store pricing may not be the same as you see in our Online store.
Thanks
Millie

I have tried to unlock my samsung galaxy s2 and the code given on the unlocking vodafone website does not works and I have tried it 2 or 3 times already and the code which I am putting in is the same as displayed on vodafine.com.au/unlock website and every time it says unsuccessful
Hi Mohit,
When you entered your unlock code did you follow all the steps provided by Millie? You can dial *#06# on your handset to double check them IMEI you are entering in the unlock tool is correct.
Thanks

I purchased my Galaxy S 2 on Thursday the 30th of June. When using the Vodafone Unlock page, I'm getting the IMEI not found message. I have then proceeded to complete the contact details but have not heard from Vodafone yet. What are my options?

Hi schew,
I'm sorry you have been having difficulties unlocking your new phone. When unlocking your phone we aim to ensure the unlocking process is as smooth as possible. I'm just sorry this has not occurred with your unlocking request and can certainly understand the frustration this may have caused.
Since submitting your unlocking difficulty to us, have you been able to retry entering your IMEI number into our Handset Unlocking site here?
If your instructions are still not available, please let me know. I would like to look into the difficulties you are experiencing further.
Thanks
Alana.
