"As you have submitted the difficulties form on the website, and your phone is still unable to be unlocked after five days, I am happy to escalate your issue. "

So, the 4 day thing is a load of rubbish then? What is it you actually do here? Apart from asking the blatently obvious questions like 'are you sure you know what phone model you have...' and 'have you entered your IMEI in the unlocking page...' and etc etc. Is that really how stupid Vodafone Au think we are? Lets face it, your rather unenviable job here is just to put us through the 4 day wait, hope someone else fixes the problem and then pass us on to someone else. So what do you actually do?

Hi,

Yes, apologies for the post of the IMEI number, I just saw it had happened on another thread and a moderator posted right below it without having the consent of even removing it so I thought it was OKAY to do so. At least I asked for it to be removed, I just thought it was an easier way of getting it out without having to go through further inconvenience of getting that number towards you (obviously consuming MORE time of which is completely unnecessary).

I lso hope this e-mail that I have just sent in regards does not take up to another 4 business days or what not, I hope it's an urgent and critical process that gets done immediately or as soon as possible.

Cheers in advance anywho,

Hi haiThere,

We recommend not posting your IMEI as this is a public forum and your IMEI is an number unique to your device alone.   To escalate your unlocking issue we will also require additional personal information.

We attempt to reply to all emails within one business day.

Thanks

Jemma

Alana,

I have been trying on a daily basis and have been receiving the IMEI not found message each day. I have not been completing the contact details each time - just the first time after receiving the message, which would have been over the weekend (2-3/7).

Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks for letting me know.  There is certainly no need to re-enter your unlocking difficulty each time.

Once your difficulty has been submitted online, our Unlocking Team will investigate and and get in contact with you within 4 working days.

As today is the fourth day, if you have not heard anything in regards to your unlocking difficulty by the end of today, please let me know as I would like to investigate further for you.

Thanks

Alana.

Received my unlock code by email as promised.

Thank You Alana and Liam.

HI Jemma or Alana or VDF support,

Could you please help me and raise my issue to your unlocking team?

Please PM me with your contact details and what information do you need from me?

I have THREE IMEI numbers that I need to unlock.

I submitted Friday 29 July via the website and I haven't received any news.

I called customer service daily and they just registered my IMEI on Tuesday 2nd August and said the one on the website to request unlock is useless unless you've called.

Actually I called Friday 29 July as well to registered via customer service and it seems that person didn't do anything.

So how can I trust the customer service if my request has been go through to the right area?

As per message above, this person also has the same issue and I cannot wait for more than 8 business days for the unlock code.

Please PM me because I need to unlock this ASAP.

Since I submitted via vodafone.com.au/unlock from Friday 29 July then technically it has been 5 business days and no news at all. Your online unlock also not working this weekend: 404 error  page not found.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Cor3yJames, Bathurst, and surat

I'm sorry you're not able to unlock your phone, after filling in the difficulties page, and waiting the four business days for our Handset Unlocking Team to upload the IMEI for you.

I am able to escalate this for you - I will need your personal details, which we can't share on the Community. I’ve sent you a PM with our contact information. Please click on this link to access your Private Messages. Also note that we cannot provide support via PM.

Thanks,

Kirsty.

I have been trying to unlock my handset since October 14. I have contacted customer care countless times and dragged my babies half way around brisbane to a service centre that had closed down (with no notification on your website) then to stores to try get it fixed. Finally, it goes to the service centre and 2 weeks later I get a new handset.... but it's LOCKED ... AND... it has the SAME problem. Now I am back at square one, but with a new phone and being told to wait 3 business days for them to see if they can send me another unlock code.

Not suprisingly, I've had a gutful! Can you replace my handset with one already unlocked?????? 2 months of this is past ridiculous.
