Alana,
I have been trying on a daily basis and have been receiving the IMEI not found message each day. I have not been completing the contact details each time - just the first time after receiving the message, which would have been over the weekend (2-3/7).
Regards
Simon
Hi Simon,
Thanks for letting me know. There is certainly no need to re-enter your unlocking difficulty each time.
Once your difficulty has been submitted online, our Unlocking Team will investigate and and get in contact with you within 4 working days.
As today is the fourth day, if you have not heard anything in regards to your unlocking difficulty by the end of today, please let me know as I would like to investigate further for you.
Thanks
Alana.

It's now 7:30pm AEST and I have not heard from Vodafone.

I received the handset a day after I ordered it which was last week on Wednesday. I tried to unlock the handset, but to no avail because of the IMEI not found. I am a customer that has migrated from 3 (Three) carrier and this is the only reason why I'm assuming I'm getting the IMEI not found, I know plenty of people who could just retrieve the code immediately on the day they received it which is VERY dissapointing.
I filled out the form that day, and still have been waiting ever since. I also filled one on Monday, and then spoke to a representative on Tuesday again (and he said he HAD to fill out the form again for me), and still till this day, nothing. Very dissapointed. It is very frustrating as I need to use my phone service now with another carrier's SIM.
Any help at all .....?

Hi haiThere,
I'm sorry you have yet to hear anything in regards to your handset unlocking difficulty and I completely understand your frustration experiencing these delays as we aim to ensure the unlocking process of all phones is as smooth as possible.
I'd like to check your handset unlocking difficulty but firstly I will require some further information.
I understand your phone is also a Samsung Galaxy S2 correct? If not, please confirm for me the make and model of the phone you are attempting to unlock.
Since submitting your unlocking difficulty to us, have you been able to retry retrieving your unlocking code and instructions again via our online unlocking site here? If you are still unable to access your unlocking code and instructions, are you able to confirm for me if you are receiving the same error message?
Thanks
Alana.

I bought my S2 from a Voda store on Sunday. The staff member offered to get me an unlock code and told me that I would get a reply within 4 days. It is now 5 working days.
Any ideas when I can expect an answer? Vodafone network still woeful so I want the have the option of using other carriers for data usage. You've got me cuffed for 2 years anyway so an unlock code would be handy for me as I can use prepaid when I travel overseas.
Vodafone international roaming is not an option I will consider due to the costs of receiving and making calls while overseas.

Yes, it is a Samsung Galaxy S2. Just saying but I don't see why I would have entered a Galaxy S2 thread if it wasn't in regards to it and I'm sure you could check what handset it is by the IMEI (either way, you'd best be investigating this any way, so it wouldn't be of any inconvenience).
Yes I have, I check that website 4 times a day, but only submitted to it three times (yes, that's how frustrating the waiting process can be). Yes, I can confirm to you that I am receiving the same error message. I don't see why you're asking that if you are receiving it yourself, assuming you saw my IMEI post and used it onto the unlocking website (I know you do this according to a few posts), and if it returned an error, then I don't see why I wouldn't receive the error either.
Cheers...

Hi Danster,
I can check the status of your unlock request, as you have waited five business days, and not received a response yet. I’ve sent you a PM with our contact information. Please click on this link to access your Private Messages. Also note that we cannot provide support via PM.
I can also help with any network issues you are having, if you would like to tell me a little more detail about the issue you've experienced?
When are you you going overseas?
Thanks!
Kirsty.

Hi haiThere,
I'm truly sorry for the frustrating experience you have had trying to have your handset unlocked.
If the handset was purchased from Vodafone, migrating from 3 to Vodafone is not the reason the IMEI is not found. Unfortunately, a small number of IMEIs display this error, and need to be manually uploaded.
As you have submitted the difficulties form on the website, and your phone is still unable to be unlocked after five days, I am happy to escalate your issue. I’ve sent you a PM with our contact information. Please click on this link to access your Private Messages. Also note that we cannot provide support via PM.
Please also note that we do not allow the posting of personal information, such as IMEI numbers in the Community. You can find out more information about the Community's guidelines here.
Thanks,
Kirsty.
