Nothings wrong.... testing takes a while and if something fails it has to be tested again. Each Carrier has thier own testing techniques and they can vary significantly from one to the other. Smartphones in particular take longer as when something fails during the testing process you need to throughly test it again to make sure its right. Have a look in the blog about the ändroid software journey" this tells you how its done but is mearly an overview... Believe me after spending a year testing phones for Vodafone myself a few years ago i can assure you they are ironing out all the creases before its released. Unfortunatley i am unable to provide you with anymore information than this.

Hello Vodafone AU,

i have an extremely urgent enquiry!!!!!!!! i have already unlocked my Samsung Galaxy s 2 when i was in AUS and there was no problem in using SIM cards from other networks. Also it was confirmed by one of the Customer Service representative that the handset's unlocked.

i'm in INDIA stranded due to some NETWOR KEY issue where in no local SIM card can be used in my SAMSUNG galaxy s2.

i have tried calling you people for this issue and other than waste of money and anxiety i have not received any concrete reply. infact i was asked to HANG UP due to un availability of staff even after providing all my details. i hopeVodafone will live up to its name and the expectation of its customers.

Waiting for your reply ASAP as i am literally stranded and not able to communicate with anybody back home.

Sorry to nag, but I'm now going to ask the question everyone on this forum wants to know.
We now know that the 3.2 update has the green light, but when can we expect it?

I'm assuming that there needs to be some kind of discussion with Samsung to coordinate a deploymet time.
Are we at a stage where Vodafone has made Samsung aware that testing was successful and you're just waiting for Samsung to respond back with tape deployment time?

I've been following updates with samsung and telstra. After telstra approves an update it takes at least a week for samsung to put it on their servers. The one thing slowing things with samsung lately is that the galaxy s2 has the ICS update rolling out so their servers are a little busy atm

1. What come up on the screen when it's plugged in?

2. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds
