Are we surprised?
I was over this whole thing a while ago.....
We have been burned.

It is my pure curiosity that drives me here any more.
This has been quite the learning experience.

I'm sure Tim will respond with more info today - but I'm not confident we will be getting good news.
I'm really hoping the "configuration" issue is simply related to possible configuration related to deployment, however my guess is that someone from Voda in another country has found the release doesn't work with their network, hence it needed to be pulled.
Obviously it could be anything, but this sounds like the logical issue - if it is the case then maybe there is the option to deploy it just for Aus.

To be honest, like many of us here, I'm not at all surprised given the history of this product and the way Vodafone has handled it from the very start.
I would have to say this is a case that may need to be put to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman as a complaint since Vodafone has again and again made promises they have been unable and incapable of delivering. For whatever the reason they claim, they haven't actually offered any solution to the problem other than to wait and wait and wait again. I will be putting this to Vodafone and give them the opportunity to resolve the issue to my satisfaction and if they cannot do that, then I will take my complaint to the TIO and would encourage others to do the same

Remarkably close to the reality Scott.
I've gotten some new information early this morning, and here is where the situation currently stands.
The issue we're facing is due to the configuration of the rollout itself, not the software update. The 3.2.1 update is still approved by Vodafone Australia and a there is no indication a new software build or testing schedule is required at this time.
The good news is the configuration issue has been resolved, and the rollout will begin shortly. Right now I don't have an exact timeframe for that, but I've confirmed the information with our contacts at Vodafone global.
I'd like to remind everyone of the software update process and the parties involved. I'll keep you updated with information as soon as I receive it, but please keep the Community guidelines in mind. I understand completely your concerns re waiting for this update and assure you that our team here is incredibly invested in getting this update to you.
Thanks
Tim
