Hi again Fatty.  After a bit of messing and reading I still can;t find what I need.  Is it possible to group contacts eg. Family, suppliers, etc in the contacts section, rather than just alpha order?  Thanks in advance.

Sure is a waynut you need to do it via contacts in your gmail account online via PC. Just select the contact edit and there should be an option to assign a group.

Then in the main contact screen on your phone press the menu button ans select the gmail account from the list and choose which group of contacts you want to display. There may be another step but I'm typing on my phone so it's hard to check :-)

G’day,

Thanks for the detailed review. I got my Nexus S last week and unfortunately it’s suffering from severe problems (rebooting, freezing etc.). When i attempt to open apps or type SMS, it would freeze and force close on me at least 5-6 times a day. I haven’t downloaded any third party app and it’s on latest version 2.3.4. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it needs to be taken back to the place of purchase!! It definitely shouldn't be demonstrating those behaviours. The only thing I could suggest you try is a factory reset (lets face it, computers all have one thing in common a good reinsatll of the is does them wonders) I reset mine after the update to 2.3.4 and it seems to be much zippier. I've also never had force closing when SMS ing.
