Hi Rosudgeon,

Have you tried c00kie's suggestion on the previous page? If so did this help?

Cheers,

That is happening with this phone too..

Hi Sledge,

Just to confirm, you're also having to reconnect  to the network by turning your phone off and on again? Have you been able to try c00kies suggestion from the previous page? Let me know how this goes.

Thanks,
Gemma

No it did not work, it's continually doing it every day just about so i decided to take it into a store when it wasn't working.

So i waste an hour and a half of my time with someone who has no idea/understanding of what i'm trying to explain, so i ask for the manager who says we can send it away for you that's about it. Then i wait an for close to 45mins while they disappear out the back to fill out a form to send it away and give me a loan phone that is flat !! Can they not even bother to charge it up while attempting to fill out the form. And if the phone comes back with the existing problem then it has to be sent away three times !!!!

I am so annoyed with the lack of customer service from Vodafone which combined with the issues with the phone, calls dropping out and slow data speeds makes me wonder how why i would even want to stay with Vodaphone. And this is only after being 4 months into a 2 year contract.

The people in the shop just fob you off and if i want to complain i have ring to speak to someone overseas who doesn't understand me. Why would i want to stay with Vodafone after being treated like this ? To say i am disappointed is an understatement.

Hi

I just got an update to 2.10.178.1 the other day but I still don't have an option to upgrade to 2.2. Should this happen automatically? Is there a way I can force the update?

Cheers

Andrew

Hi I read that Vodafone Magic  users have been getting Android 2.2 last year.

I was wondering if my HTC Magic (3) will get any ROM update.

If so, how?

Thanks.

My phone too. Also when it happens I have to disconnect the battery to turn it back on again. Alternately if I leave the phone off it will turn itself back on in a minute anyway. The wife has the same phone and there is no way she is going to upgrade until this is fixed. The other point is I live 30 km out of Brisbane so why am I losing reception in the first place. Vodafone you've done it again.

Hi Rosudgeon,

Thankyou for taking the time to post about your experience, I am sorry that our colleague's both in store and over the phone have been unable to resolve your issues to date. I'm happy to pass on your feedback and to provide help here.

When was your phone sent away for repairs? Were you provided with a reference number for this repair?

Thanks,
Gemma

Hi Andrew,

I'd recommend having a look on the HTC website here. This steps you through how to upgrade your HTC Legend to 2.2, and also recommends you back up all your data before performing this upgrade.

Thanks,
Gemma
