You will get the update when Optus releases it, not Vodafone.

It's great that you decided to sign up with us!

will89 is correct, even though you are using our network, the phone was registered with Optus so they will provide you with the ICS update.

You'll need to have a chat with Optus about when they are releasing ICS for the HTC incredible S. You can view the firmware updates that are available for phone purchased directly from Vodafone on our blog here.

Sarah.

The iPhone 4S is a great phone! Are there any features you're really enjoying? I'd love to hear any feedback you have.

I don't have any information, and am not able to comment on why Optus have pushed back the update to August, however the updates do go through a lot of testing to make sure there are not going to be any faults when it is released.

I hope you have had a enjoyable weekend!

Sarah.

Sarah,

I was just wondering whether the Htc Incredible s would upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich?

If I brought my phone in Hong Kong (first time brought to Australia was using Vodafone; and now still using it) would I be able to update the phone according to the vodafone's time schedule???

Thanks Of the help

The actual update will come from the original carrier themselves, so you'll need to get in contact with them regarding the update. If you've got the contact details of the original carrier, you could get in contact with them to check what the best way is to get your handset updated.

If you've got any other questions, please let me know.

Kind Regards,

James.
