Hey guys:

I saw a lot of news about the ICS update for Galaxy S2 today. It seems that the update for Galaxy S2 international version has been officially confirmed on 10 March.

I am just wondering as Australian Vodafone version user whether we could receive the update as well. Is there a official update schedule?

Hi Afterdream,

We've received the ICS update for the SGS II, however it's still in testing.

We'll be able to provide an ETA for release once testing completes, which normally takes a few weeks

Any issues or faults will cause delays, and you can read a little more about the process on the blog.

Thanks for the quick reply, though " a few weeks" is something too long for Galaxy S2 users.

Hope the test process in Vodafone goes well.

I cheked the FOTA today, failed. I think Tim's information was right.

Australian vodafone is always 10times late than any other telecommunications around the world including optus and telstra. why? Sick of my 10.1v sick of my galaxy s2 not because of the hardware but extremely slow testing process and after all that doesnt even work properly which is evident of my 10.1v 3.0.1 honeycomb. I want to smash it into pieces time and time again.
