Hi,
As many SGS2 user may know, simply by pressing the home button twice will automatically bring you to Voice Talk (even if you phone has been screen locked)
I had accidently clicked into this many, many times and found it annoying.
Does anyone know how to deactivate this?
Even better, if there is anyone know if I can replace that with something else?
Which means, for example, simply by pressing home button twice, bring me to camera, messaging or certain app?
Cheers.

There are two ways of deactivating it.
First way (easy). Go into voice talk, press menu and then settings. Untick the box that says "Launch Voice Talk".
Second way (more difficult). Go into phone settings and then applications. Go to the All tab. Scroll down to Voice Talk and then tap it. Then there is an option to disable it.
In terms of using the double tap with for something else, there is no native way of doing it in andorid however there might be apps or widgets for it.

Thanks will for your reply.
But I can't seems to find 'Launch Voice Talk' under voice talk settings nor
Under the phone settings -> application, only voice command (which doesn't allow me to disable either)
I am using ICS 4.0.3
Is there any other way to deactivate it?
I am aware that Go Launcher might be an option but I am reluctant to install that one...
Cheers.

I'm using a Note with ICS and was hoping that both options were there. It may have been Samsung Australia that took the option out (i'm using UK software). To be honest, I'm pretty sure Go Launcher doesn't work that way.
What options do you have in the settings of Voice Talk?

OK....
Do the double click to get into voice, then bring up yur menu > settings.
One of the options should be "Launch " and this can be unchecked to stop the double click launch.
Should work, however I am looking at v4.0.4 and don't have 4.0.3 handy at the moment.
If not, post back and we can try something else.

Unfortunately, still no 'Launch' option to choose from.
Here is whay i see when clicking the settings for voice talk:
Under the heading General:
Language
Web Search Engine
Auto-Dial
Use Location
Hide offensive Words
Auto-punctuation
Listen over Bluetooth
Voice Talk Unique ID
About (Nothing inside other than Vlingo Terms of Service and Privacy policy)
Under the heading of Voice Command:
Auto-start listening
Voice command help (inside which generally a tutorial of how to use voice command/talk)
Social settings (for facebook and twitter)
Under the heading of Voice Talk:
Voice Talk Settings (this is a long one- pls see below)
Voice Talk help (Again, sort of tutorial similar to the one above)
When clicking into the Voice Talk settings:
Under the heading General:
Launch on bluetooth (had been deactivated. This is the only launch option i can see)
Auto-start Speakerhpone (turn speakerphone on when making a call)
Show body of message (while driving mode is on)
Under the heading Wake up Command:
Wake up command (say 'hi galaxy' to activate voice talk - had been deactivated)
Only on while charging (greyed)
Motion (greyed)
Under the heading Text to Speech:
Speak Prompts
Customize main Prompt
Under the heading Navigation:
Home Address
Any idea anyone?
Thanks will89 and Balsam and anyone else who are willing to help out.

Its odd that samsung australia decided to remove the setting but not the first time they have done something stupid. They also removed all the languages when using the swype keyboard (because of course this is logical for some reason)

OK... Just had a look at the S2 with v 4.0.3, and it appears there is no way to disable the double click bit. On the S3, it is as I described earlier.
It is a pain... I ended up with the voice thing coming up regularly by accidently double pressing.
Will do some more research and let you know if I find anything.
Sorry I misled you earlier,
