I also tried the following apps:
mEvolve
Dub Turbo Digital Music
Kids Music Maker Lite
Kalimba Lite
Finger Play Midi
Draw Music MonadPad
That is an outstanding app list Balsam! I'm afraid one of the things an expert is, isn't someone who buys an app they will never use again. I'm really impressed at the effort you've put in, and it was a MONUMENTAL task to put you through.
I never expected this challenge to be completed, unless of course you are secretly Jamie Lidell.
I was hoping there was an Android version of this app, it's one of my favourite tracks and it's a lot of fun to see it mixed in real time.
Balsam, you did ok by me!

Sorry about yesterday but this is my Minecraft Shot.
and as far as iOS advantages, I would have to say that the biggest one would be Apples Software support. The instant updates and tech support from a single source makes any issues easier and reduces the time you have to wait for updates.
The biggest upside to Android would have to be the customisation. we have all seen how much we can customise the home screens, and thats not nearly as far as it can go. Widgets really make it worth while.
